Festive summer salad

If the weather is hot on Christmas day, I want salad - and plenty of it! Preferably a range of them - with plenty of cheese, tart fruit and crunchy toppings. Wouldn't you know it... that's exactly what this salad is.


The only thing that needs any cooking in this festive summer salad are the balsamic walnuts, but if you can't be bothered with that, the salad won't really be any worse off - and then you don't even need to cook anything at all, now that is DEFINITELY my kind of Christmas.
