Soft and chewy snickerdoodle bars

These soft and chewy snickerdoodle bars taste JUST like a cinnamon doughnut - try them and tell me they don't! And what's more, they are far faster and easier to make than doughnuts... no deep frying for a start. Plus, they're healthier? Well... maybe, just maybe. But either way, they certainly are delicious.

Do not get me started on the name. Why oh why are they called that? I feel like they deserve something with a bit more dignity... but who am I to question the very smart person who originally came up with the recipe.
